The Bull's Head is a traditional English Country pub in the quintessential Warwickshire village of Meriden, said to be the centre of England. It has recently been restored to its former glory of a 17th Century Coaching Inn but with a modern twist.
General Manager, Barry Chainey, leads an eclectic team who add to the warm and special feel of the pub. There is no need to book, just come in and we'll look after you. We believe in letting you manage your own time. Find a table, order your food at the bar and we'll ensure your visit is relaxing.
Located near the NEC, Birmingham International Airport and the M42 and a short drive from the Warwickshire towns of Coventry, Warwick, Leamington and Birmingham, The Bull's Head has 14 bedrooms ideal for the business traveller or families exploring the wonderful countryside. Our rooms can be booked at The Innkeepers Lodge.
The décor is open, airy and stylish, using natural materials while retaining many of the original features. In the winter months log fires will roar while during the summer the garden reverberates with people enjoying the balmy evenings over a chilled glass of wine or continental lager.
The menu is nice and simple; a mixture of grilled steaks, fresh fish, light salads and traditional English pub food, all cooked fresh in the kitchen by a talented brigade of chefs. Sunday Roasts are a speciality with a continual selection to choose from. The bar stocks a large selection of perfectly chilled continental beers (Amstel, Staropramen & Erdinger) as well as selected local ales such as Old Speckled Hen, Marstons Pedigree and Old Hook Norton.
